BD

Hi! I have a teacher at one of my first-year schools that has been coming to all the collaborations...she teachers BD 2nd and 3rd graders and she has asked me if I could put her in touch with any other BD teachers that have implemented "MRI" and are beyond year 1. Does anyone have any teachers that I could put her in touch with??

I hope everyone is doing well...I miss you all! We haven't seen each other in FOREVER!

Here is a pic of Gav and Aubree at the Farm Park (Rutledge-Wilson) Pumpkin Patch! :) I LOVE fall!

Ok....Here is one more pic...Halloween costumes! They had SO much fun on Halloween....candy, candy, candy!

Oh, my gosh, you're right about not seeing each other...your kids have grown so much I didn't recognize them!!! How precious and beautiful they are! Thanks for the pics. I'm so glad you posted. I miss you a bunch!

As to your BD teacher...I have a sped teacher in St. James who is fabulous...and I don't know if she has a BD child right now, but I know she has had...and we're in year two. The reading department head at North Middle School in St. Louis is awesome, and though she is no longer teaching special ed., she is a veteran teacher who used to teach BD kids...That help?

Would you mind giving me her email address so that I can put her in touch with my teacher in Lebanon? She is really wanting to communicate with some other sped teachers. THANKS so much! What a fast response!
Oh...one more thing. I've changed my email address since we began the blog...how do I change it so that I can get the comments at my new email address?? The new address is shonnacrawford@gmail.com
Have a great weekend!

Your kids are precious. Wow, when did you post this?

I can't believe I haven't checked the blogs any sooner. I do have a BD teacher implementing MRI in Bolivar. I introducted her & the Title I staff to MRI/ Early Literacy strategies based on my Title I/Reading Recovery background and MRI follows that pretty closely. She is having more success than she ever has in the past and is SOLD. Would you want her email address to give to your teacher?
