Oh, Dear, Jennifer's Foot IS Broken!

This is just a short post to tell you that I just returned from Jennifer's, and yes, she broke her foot, and she has a big, red, heavy cast...on her driving foot!

So...once again, she's grounded from driving, and actually, I think from walking, too. She found out today that not only was her foot broken, but it's crucial to her healing that she stay off of it so that it will mend.

As always, she's moving forward, (she's been hobbling around on it for a couple days...)but keep her in your positive thoughts and prayers!

I am so sorry to read about your foot! I wish I could help you in some way, but I don't even live in Springfield these days. I have been in schools in St. Louis all week and have to be there until Wed. of next week. Are you cuddling with those kittens? Keep in touch.

Barb - that was such a sweet note about my broken foot and even attached with graphics!!! How clever you are.
Tomorrow is Bolivar. It is supposed to rain so I had mom put my crate of supplies in her car today. I emailed the school and forwarned them that I would need someone to help me in because i don't want mom getting wet and cold. We can't afford for her to get SICK. Is that selfish??? No that is concern because I won't be able to take care of HER.
I thankfully have the rest of the week free so I can rest and keep my foot up. I talked to Dr. Parks nurse today with a couple questions and concerns. She reiterated that I am absolutely not to put any weight on my foot. I am being extremely careful because I certainly do not want surgery.
I hope you had a good trip to St.Louis Sunday evening and I hope you had a good day. I need to talk to you this weekend sometime about my Golden City day. Talk to you soon.
